Consultation

we’ll find the most effective treatment

Consultation is a 2-way street. We talk openly and you’ll have plenty of time to ask me whatever questions you have about me, the process, and share your issues, concerns and goals. I build therapeutic partnerships and work in collaboration with you to find the most most effective treatment. This can take a few sessions requiring a detailed history of your problems, concerns and goals, as well as family and medical medical history. comprehensive psychiatric assessment leading to a correct diagnosis and treatment plan. I also offer consultation for patients or colleagues to provide a second opinion an existing treatment plan.

Psychopharmacology

One size doesn’t fit all.

Let’s face it, sometimes it’s just not feasible to come into the office. I believe a comprehensive, compassionate treatment plan doesn’t need to be one way or another – it should seamlessly reflect individual needs. That's why I also offer appointments by phone, FaceTime, or Skype.

Working with the unconscious process in the therapeutic relationship, through dreams and free association, dysfunctional processes are illuminated and changed.

I view adversity and illness, not from a place of victimhood, but as an opportunity for expanded awareness. I am passionate about what can be learned from the intersection of psychotherapy and spirituality.

Would you benefit from therapy?

Do you feel overwhelmed?
Are you struggling to cope with anxiety, irrational fears or traumas?
Do you want create healthier relationships?

Break dysfunctional cycles

I feel treatment is best when you address and treat symptoms from all perspectives, including but not limited to medication and psychotherapy. Listening to patients in a non-judgemental way and understanding their symptoms is equally important. Fulfilling work life which is symptom-free and having healthy, loving personal relationships are some long-term psychotherapy goals which I strive to help my patients achieve through shared exploration and understanding. The majority of patients seek me because they feel that being both a holistic psychiatrist and a physician with deep experience allows me to address patient's biological and emotional needs and concerns in a holistic way.

With the right tools and support, adversity is just opportunity to transform in disguise.
