Psychotherapy Services

Dr. Nina Certfolio addresses and provides treatment for the following:

Consultation

Consultation is a 2-way street. We talk openly and you’ll have plenty of time to ask me whatever questions you have about me, the process, and share your issues, concerns and goals. I build therapeutic partnerships and work in collaboration with you to find the most effective treatment. This can take a few sessions requiring a detailed history of your struggles, family and medical history, and a comprehensive psychiatric assessment leading to a correct diagnosis and treatment plan. I also offer consultation for patients or colleagues to provide a second opinion on an existing treatment plan.

Psychopharmacology

Medical management can be an important complement to psychotherapy, helping bring balance to tailored treatment based on the latest research and individual patient goals.

With the right tools and support, adversity is just an opportunity to transform in disguise.

Psychotherapy

Is psychotherapy right for you? Investing the time to identify what patterns from your past are causing present stressors or anxieties, enables you to enact the changes required to create a more balanced and empowered you.

Leading a fulfilling life and having healthy personal relationships are some long-term psychotherapy goals which I guide my patients to achieve through shared exploration and understanding. Many of my patients have come to me because they appreciate that my dual role as a holistic psychiatrist and an experienced physician enables me to address their biological and emotional needs in a holistic manner.

Coaching

Is there something you seek to change or better cope with, such as a relationship, work or confidence? Together we’ll set goals, help you identify obstacles, change your perspective, and identify and change your core beliefs. Get the help you need to live the life you want!
